			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The days of easy sales are over. In times of financial uncertainty, saturated markets, stiff competition and increasing globalization, sales teams need to develop new skills, new viewpoints and ultimately new goals in order to survive in today&#8217;s business world. Just &#8220;making the sale&#8221; is no longer enough in this new environment - companies must be able to create and establish long term relationships with existing and potential customers in order to secure sustainable profits. </p>
<p>Sales is a term that evokes differing emotions in people - in customers and sales representatives alike. Many think of sales in terms of a competitive transaction between two parties. If the sales representative wins, the customer buys the product. If the customer wins, he resists the pressure of the sales representative. Sales, in general, is viewed by many as an irritating, but necessary evil. </p>
<p>It can be different, however. It can be an exciting, challenging, mutually beneficial situation based on the idea of building a relationship of trust and understanding in order to learn what the needs and desires of the client are before even raising the idea of initiating a transaction. A sales representative who has been thoroughly trained in the art of consultative selling will be able to offer the client something he himself truly values, increasing the likelihood that he will come away with more than just a sale. In the end, he will establish a long-term relationship with his client that will lead to many future sales and satisfying transactions.</p>
<p>Participants will learn to:</p>

<li>Employ a value approach in building a successful customer partnership</li>
<li>Successfully sell long-term relationships instead of discounted pricing</li>
<li>Make use of interviewing skills to drive the sales process in lieu of pitching products</li>
<li>Understand how the needs of different buyer and behavior types impact the sales process</li>
<li>Differentiate product/service and company in a competitive selling environment</li>
<li>Identify the top ten (10) closing techniques, and know when and how to use them</li>
<li>Recognize opportunities to add value to client&#8217;s business</li>
<li>Offer creative solutions and options for mutual gain</li>
<li>Use post-sales measurement to share data with sales management</li>
<li>Increase sales by understanding when and why buyers buy</li>
<li>Become a superb listener</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At our open house on November 7, participants had the opportunity to feel what it&#8217;s like to communicate and be successful.</p>
<p>As conscious beings, horses have a great capacity for independent thinking; social relationships; individual personalities; physical, intellectual and emotional abilities and, of course, limitations (just like humans!). Because of these similarities to humans (and the profound differences) horses make wonderful partners for initiating powerful change. Horses have no investment in the outcome of an interaction; they always tell the truth, they have no egos and no agendas. They are simply who and what they are, without any need for right and wrong.</p>
<p>This makes the information we get from them very powerful.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.excellence-enhancement.com/wp-content/uploads/alex_schnabl2.jpg" class=thickbox rel=298 ></a>Participants at our open house had the opportunity to feel for themselves the power of functioning communication and learn what it takes to make communication work. Intention, focus, energy, relationship, trust and respect were some of the issues we discussed and tried out first hand with the horses.</p>
<p>Working with horses simulates situations we face in our everyday professional and private lives.</p>
<p>We all have a continual string of tasks and desires we wish to complete and various persons we wish to do this with. Each person is different and each task requires a new approach.</p>
<p>Our success in any endeavor is largely dependent on our ability to interact successfully with others. If we are able to create positive, motivating and clear interactions then we are much more likely to reach our goals.</p>
<p>Many participants were surprised how the horses responded to them and how quickly they reacted to changes and adjustments. It really is fascinating how accurately horses respond to us. <p>[lang_en]Horses know nothing about corporate and social status and are completely impartial to our positions and roles within business and social structures, organizations and groups. They receive and see us as we present ourselves. They are without opinion, bias or ulterior motive; their response to us reflects our strengths, weaknesses and incongruities</p>
<p>As animals of flight, horses naturally seek confident and strong leaders, and demand a high level of awareness, authenticity and responsiveness from them. They are highly sensitive to mindsets, intentions and behaviors, and respond with amazing, and sometimes startling, consistency and clarity. They offer profound insight into who we are, how we present ourselves and how we interact with others.</p>
<p>Horses present us with a mirror of ourselves, immediately responding to all our signals without value judgment. Their feedback gives us a wealth of information about communication and leadership styles and how we impact those around us. It offers us a unique opportunity to align our body language, behavior and habits to get better results.</p>

<p>Through personal encounters with the horses, and subsequent group discussions and feedback sessions, participants discover a new awareness of themselves and others and learn how to apply this knowledge to<br />

<p>Horses do not speak our language and never will and don’t show any interest in doing so. They are inherently non-aggressive and leadable animals. They are interested in a partnership, but in order to lead horses we need to be able to establish a relationship based on trust and respect, the fundament of every functioning human relationship.</p>
<p>Are you able to establish respect and trust in your business relationships? Ask anyone who has successfully gotten a 750kg-animal to respond to his wishes, and he’ll tell you what it’s like to focus, to openly think and demonstrate leadership, to master communication skills and build a working relationship on 100% trust.</p>

<p>Participants require no previous horse experience.</p>
